Welcome back to school! My name is Monica Torres. I’m the school nurse at Sheldon Early Childhood Academy. I’m excited to get to know you and help you with any health needs. I look forward to working together to promote the health and wellbeing of our students.

Important Information:
When to Keep Your Child Home
Please help us to keep all our students safe and healthy by keeping your child home if they have any of the following symptoms: fever of 100°F or above, diarrhea, vomiting; itchy, red eye/s with drainage, persistent cough, shortness of breath, or head lice. Students must be without fever, vomiting and/or diarrhea for24 hours without the use medication before returning to school.
Medications
All medication must be brought directly to the nurse by a parent or legal guardian. Students are NOT allowed to carry medication. A prescription label with the student’s name is required for all prescribed medications.
